The True Stories We Hear
I would hazard a guess that if there was ever a saying that could sum up current modern living, something along the lines of, “Too many cooks spoil the soup,” will fit this. When it comes to just trying to live life normally, amongst a couple hundred million people just in your own country and a couple billion amongst the whole planet’s population, how can we not end up with a few bad apples looking to destroy good things for everyone.
The worst way to ‘spoil the soup’ these days to me, would be that underlining under your nose and without you ever be aware of what is going on. This is actually extremely common. People will do anything to keep themselves above water, including drowning others in the process. To get away from the metaphors, this modern society will sooner let you suffer and prefer you to squirm and suffer and do nothing to help you, including refusing to let you know of your very own rights.
This is what I love most about the new job opportunity that I’ve taken up. Now you can know for a fact on your rights and stop yourself from being a victim of our current victimizing society.
I want to share a couple of true stories on what this organization has already done. I’ll start with a story on identity theft. A recent female member of Prepaid Legal Services and also has Identity Theft Shield discovered that she has 250 illegal immigrants working underneath her name. The seller ended up tearing the contract up right there knowing this man was very serious about having an attorney view this contract. What was in this contract that he did not want this customer or even an attorney to see? The bold print looks great but the fine print will get you. Goes to show that you cannot take anything for granted these days, but yet, that is what happens most commonly.
